Sever's Farm Market (The perfect summer job)

We want to hire outgoing, friendly, responsible people who can sell produce!

We are a fourth generation family farm operating in Eden Prairie. We grow fresh produce which is sold retail in the metropolitan area. We hire sales people for our retail stands which open June 19th and remain open until August 30th. Due to our short season, you will be working some weekends, and we cannot accommodate vacations.

The farm is on Flying Cloud Drive and County Road 4 in Eden Prairie (across from Lion's Tap). All of our produce stands are located in the west metro. Our sales hours are 10:30am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday and 10am to 6pm on the weekends. We are open seven days a week. All of our sellers report to their assigned stand between 9:00am and 9:30am. Sellers' responsibilities include: driving to a stand where the produce will have been dropped off already, displaying the produce, and selling for the day. At the end of the day, the sellers pack the unsold produce under the gazebo to be picked up later and then return to the farm where they then check back in at the office and are finished around 7:00-7:30pm. Depending on your schedule, you will be working three to four days a week, which will amount to between 30 and 44 hours per week. You must have two years of driving experience and good math skills. There will be two sellers per stand scheduled throughout the season. However, there will only be one person working at the stand each day. It will be up to you and your scheduled partner to arrange your working schedule for the season. There is lifting involved with this position as the bags of corn you will be handling at the stand can weigh up to 40 pounds.

We have 17 locations throughout the metro area. Placement at a location will be determined prior to orientation. You will be assigned the same location for the entire season.
